Artist Statement
Déclaration artistique
My artwork is a visual representation of the interconnectedness of all living things through the concept of the Tree of Life. By incorporating my artistic elements into the artwork, I hope to create a visual language that connects the mathematical and natural worlds through the Tree of Life concept. By activating the math neurons in the viewer's brain through the use of mathematical concepts and geometric patterns, my artwork aims to connect the viewer with their own inner mathematical reasoning and understanding by inducing an introspective shock.
Through abstraction, I aim to incorporate an element of myself in the painting, highlighting the universal nature of mathematical principles in art and creating a sense of cultural fusion through Arabic calligraphy. The metaphor, "Neuronal representation is a mosaic of creation and metamorphosis – an art of living and a form of life," captures the essence of this artwork.
Through the intricate patterns and shapes found in nature, my artwork represents the beauty and unity that exists in all living things, highlighting the art of living and the form of life itself.
Mon oeuvre d'art est une représentation visuelle de l'interconnexion de tous les êtres vivants à travers le concept de l'arbre de vie. En incorporant mes éléments artistiques dans l'oeuvre, j'espère créer un langage visuel qui relie les mondes mathématique et naturel à travers le concept de l'arbre de vie. En activant les neurones mathématiques du cerveau du spectateur par l'utilisation de concepts mathématiques et de motifs géométriques, mon oeuvre d'art vise à connecter le spectateur à son propre raisonnement mathématique intérieur et à sa compréhension en provoquant un choc introspectif.
Par l'abstraction, je cherche à incorporer un élément de moi- même dans la peinture, en soulignant la nature universelle des principes mathématiques dans l'art et en créant un sentiment de fusion culturelle par le biais de la calligraphie arabe. La métaphore "La représentation neuronale est une mosaïque de création et de métamorphose - un art de vivre et une forme de vie" capture l'essence de cette oeuvre d'art. À travers les motifs et les formes complexes que l'on trouve dans la nature, mon oeuvre représente la beauté et l'unité qui existent dans tous les êtres vivants, mettant en évidence l'art de vivre et la forme de vie elle-même.

Mohamad Hemadi is an existentialist abstract-expressionist artist. Mr. Hemadi is pursuing a Master of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa. He has always been drawn to the power of artistic expression to capture the raw emotions and genuine experiences of the world around him. With a vision to capture authenticity and self-expression in his art, Mr. Hemadi draws inspiration from the personal life events he experiences within his community. His dynamic experiences allowed him to channel this energy into an aesthetic form utilizing vibrant colours and geometrical shapes, reflecting his deep commitment to creating a just society and giving voice to those often silenced and oppressed by showcasing the humanness experience.
Mohamad Hemadi est un artiste existentialiste abstrait-expressionniste. M. Hemadi poursuit une maîtrise en biochimie à l'Université d'Ottawa. Il a toujours été attiré par le pouvoir de l'expression artistique pour capturer les émotions brutes et les expériences authentiques du monde qui l'entoure. Soucieux de capturer l'authenticité et l'expression de soi dans son art, M. Hemadi s'inspire des événements de la vie personnelle qu'il vit au sein de sa communauté. Ses expériences dynamiques lui ont permis de canaliser cette énergie dans une forme esthétique utilisant des couleurs vibrantes et des formes géométriques, reflétant son profond engagement à créer une société juste et à donner une voix à ceux qui sont souvent réduits au silence et opprimés en mettant en valeur l'expérience humaine.
